A forensic evaluation can be completed at the request of an attorney or court in order to provide comprehensive personalized neuropsychological information to assist with informed decisions on behalf of a child client. Evaluations are objective and designed to diagnose, clarify, and confirm disability and/or cognitive impairment due to an acquired (e.g. traumatic brain injury, electrical injury, anoxia, stroke) or neurodevelopmental (e.g. intellectual disability, language disability) condition. Evaluations utilize standardized assessment techniques and instruments to include extensive review of history as well as psychological testing to determine the effects of personality characteristics and stress variables on current legal issues and functioning.
